Gamer Gear & Today's Update

Well as far as MMO's go I have not been doing much of that lately. My wife and I picked Everquest back up again but it did not last too long for me. I enjoyed the new newbie area, but after that it was all the same old thing again and I could not do it.

I did, however, play one of the best games I have ever got my hands on. Oblivion! This latest release of the elder scrolls series is beyond words good. I enjoyed every single minute of the game and found myself addicted quickly. The story line is awesome and game play superb. This is THE game of the year easily.

On a personaly fun note, my wife and I have put together a christian gamer / geek gear site. She is a designer and does awesome work, so we found a good venue to put her skills to good use and are cranking out great shirts, mugs, and other gear with many types of ideas. It is definately worth checking out.

Dungeons and Dragons Online

Well, my wife and I pre-ordered DDO and have been playing it since its release on February 28th (and a couple days before that in beta), and we are enjoying it immensly. It is definatly different from all the rest of the cookie-cutter type online rpg games out there. It is definatly worth taking a look at. Great graphics, new, fresh gameplay and all around fun make this an easy 8.5 out of 10. Classic DnD style makes for some serious nostalgia as well.

Go check it out!
Dungeons and Dragons Online

And as always, I am still playing Neveron, this is a game that sucks you and and keeps you there for YEARS. I just cant put it down. Click the banner at the top and check it out for yourself!

Awakened Worlds

While searching around for other Shadowrun stuff on my SR binge lately I came across a MUD, 'Awakened Worlds'. Which is a Multi User Dungeon, aka MUD. A text based game that can be reached through a mud client such as zmud or mud magic.

The address for connecting to it is awakenedworlds.net 4000 .

The website can be found at www.awakenedworlds.net

I think it is a fairly new mud but it looks promising. Definatly something to hold me over until Shadowrun Online comes around.

I also heard that Microsoft is working on a Shadowrun FPS for the Xbox 360, it sounds like it would be pretty interesting.

Lately....

Gaming lately has consisted of alot of Morrowind: Elder Scrolls mixed with NEVERON which I play EVERY DAY, I just can't seem to kick the habit. I have had a few people sign up with my promo code here but they have never communicated with me in the game. I want to be helpful to those who want to so if you try the game out be sure to check into the COMMS section and learn how to send my empire a message. You can also email me at any time as well 'davidmcclendon@hotmail.com' . It is a very in depth game but can get very addicting.

I only recently got an internet connection back up and running after near 3 weeks without it. (Had to have a buddy watch over my online accounts and such.) So I am trying to get back into the swing of things.)

My wife just reactivated her Everquest 2 account but after about 5 minutes she remembered why she stopped playing it after a couple of months to begin with, hehe.

I also installed the MMORPG FERENTUS which is in free beta stage right now. I did not get a chance to delve into it too deep but it may be worth checking into.

I am still WAITING for my Dungeons and Dragons Online beta invite, it needs to come on!!

New Additions

Today I bring you a couple of new additions.

First off is Shot Online which is a FREE online game of golf. I have never been a big golf fan but this definatly got me hooked. You have a persistant character that you help design for the game that gains experience and levels by playing golf, either by yourself or with others on various courses. You earn and spend money on new clubs, golf balls or clothes. You get skill points to spend as you level that you put towards your characters power, impact, skill, etc, to help make that character a better golfer.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the game, very well put together, and FREE! They make money by the option to spend real cash to get in game cash to get special items or hard to get options.

Also, I am as I type this, downloading Navy Field. I will share more as I get a chance to check it out but it looks VERY nice. It seems to be a free and fun tactical game in WWII, where you get command of a naval ship. Play online and blow things to bit. This kind of tactical fun is right up my alley!
